Duelo Folclórico

What is in Duelo Folclórico beyond the duel

The duel is the centre of it, but not all of it. This page lists what the game has today — all in the browser, free, with nothing to install.

The duel

Two Summoners in alternating turns, a 30-card deck, 30 Memory, and Faith climbing from 1 to 10. Each turn lasts 60 seconds and a match takes a few minutes. A Sun and Moon cycle shifts creature strength along the way.

The cards and the folklores

481 illustrated cards across five folklores — Brazilian, Greek, Norse, Japanese and Egyptian. Every card carries the legend that inspired it, in English and Portuguese, and rarity runs from the roadside Tale to the Primordial, of which a deck holds only one.

Building decks

The builder filters by pantheon, rarity, type and keyword, showing how many cards remain under each filter before you click. If you would rather not build by hand, the automatic builder closes a playable deck from your chosen pantheon.

Ranked

A win raises Renown and a loss lowers it — but never below the floor of the highest league you have reached, so climbing is permanent. There are 6 leagues, from Tale League to The Pantheon, with a leaderboard and a season close.

Who you play against

The queue gives absolute priority to a human opponent and avoids repeating your last few; the search window widens as time passes. With nobody available in your range, a ghost steps in — a profile run by the game, with a deck and a style of its own, that also competes in the ranking.

Friends and direct challenge

You can add friends, look at the deck of anyone who left it open, and watch a match in progress. And you can call someone for a friendly duel, by invitation or through a link good for 10 minutes — touching neither Renown nor rewards.

The Portal: how you get cards

Summons paid in Eternal Flames, which you earn by playing. The rates are public: Tale 60%, Legend 27%, Myth 10%, Divinity 2.5% and Primordial 0.5%. The Primordial chance climbs from the 75.th summon without one and is guaranteed on the 90.th.

The Sanctuary: the card you choose

Instead of relying on the draw, you can manifest a specific card by paying Faith and Offerings. Faith comes from duplicate cards and from dissolving what you do not use. Slower than the Portal, and it is your choice.

Missions and daily login

3 daily missions worth 40 Flames each, 3 weekly worth 100, plus monthly ones — and one swap per day, so you are never stuck with a mission you do not want. The login calendar rewards 30 days in a row, with cosmetics along the way.

Cosmetics and titles

Battlefields, card backs and frames change how your side of the table looks to your opponent. Titles sit next to your name and record what you have done — league reached, mastery in a pantheon, collection.

The Bonfire

The game's forum, moderated and restricted to users over 18. You can quote a card inside a message, react, reply with a quote, and everyone appears with the badge of their pantheon.

Learning to play

A guided tutorial teaches the duel step by step with the cards of whichever pantheon you choose. And a full in-game guide covers every screen — it pays 1350 Eternal Flames when you finish it.

Two languages

Interface, rules and all 481 cards exist in English and Portuguese, and the language switches inside the game. This site too: everything you are reading has a version in both.
